Beach or Waterpark?
I have a short stopover in Phuket and was just planning on spending a day at the beach. Staying in Patong, but would like recommendations for other beach day trips. Also—if you had to choose between a day at the beach and a day at the water park, any thoughts?

I think there are a few different water parks. There was a post on hfrstatus.com with a link to a pretty good article on water parks here…

Definitely waterpark. Didn’t think it would be as much fun as it was. There are various pools, swim up bars, plenty of rides and the lines weren’t too long. Can’t remember the cost but it was reasonable.
